Plumbing Isometric Drawings & System Diagrams

For larger or more complicated projects, Alex develops working plumbing diagrams and isometric representations to help document how piping, stacks, branches and underground drainage systems relate to one another.

These drawings can combine information obtained from camera inspections, field measurements, electronic locating, technician observations, existing building information and physical access points.

This can be particularly useful when evaluating older condominium buildings where multiple units share sanitary stacks and underground piping.

Camera footage becomes substantially more useful when the information discovered during the inspection is organized into an understandable representation of the plumbing system.

Alex works with Prestige technicians to take information gathered in the field and develop documentation that can assist with determining:

• Which plumbing fixtures or units are served by the affected piping

• Approximate distances between significant points

• Where underground piping travels

• Where excavation may be required

• Where existing piping transitions to PVC or other materials

• Potential access locations

• Sections that may be candidates for rehabilitation

For major projects, these findings can be incorporated into reports, diagrams, maps, photographs and proposed scopes of work.
